They also help us speak clearly. \u00a0As a doctor I take special care to help preserve nature\u2019s gifts for as long as possible, in a minimally invasive way. \u00a0When this is not possible anymore or the prognosis of a compromised tooth is poor, I will resort to more aggressive techniques such as teeth extractions and placement of dental implants.\u00a0 I view dental implants as the ideal option to replace missing teeth, that lead to significant improvement in my patient\u2019s quality life. Several studies have shown\u00a0 comparable long term survival rates\u00a0 of around 90%* \u00a0for dental bridges, that use\u00a0 either natural tooth or implants as abutments.
